Disinfecting Surfaces
Windows, Glass and Mirrors
As a disinfectant you can use on various things in your home to keep commonly touched things safe such as door knobs, light switches and faucets.
How to use on glass:
We recommend using a micro-fiber cloth. Mist onto glass and light mist onto your cloth. Starting from one side, wipe in a continuous pattern to remove dust and light debris to leave a streak-free result.
How to use as a disinfectant:
For larger surfaces, just spray on and let sit for at least 30 seconds before wiping.
For smaller surfaces or objects, spray onto a cleaning cloth and wipe thoroughly.
For carpet spills and un-washable fabric* objects, spray on and scrub vigorously. Let sit for at least 5 minutes before rinsing or vacuuming. Will not remove stains nor cause a stain.
Do not use on:
Soiled surfaces
Wood and wood finishes
Rubbers and Plastics
Mama Fer’s Surface Disinfectant is not a cleaner. It will kill germs and bacteria but will not scrub away stuck-on debris.
Product can harm wood, drying it out. Product can remove the finish or paint from surfaces. Most rubbers and plastics can be dried out then become brittle and break over time. If necessary, test a small, inconspicuous area.
Be mindful not to spray objects that are near or attached to unsafe surfaces such as a doorknob. Spray cloth then wipe the object to reduce the risk of harming the other surface.
*Un-washable fabrics are objects that cannot simply go in a washer machine to be cleaned. Things like larger rugs, carpeted areas, large cushions/chair cushion, etc.
